If you join the waitlist, we store your email address so we can tell you when Overboard for Mac launches. If you buy Overboard, our payment provider Polar (the merchant of record) processes the purchase and shares your email and order details with us so we can deliver your license key and provide support. Polar's own privacy policy governs the payment itself.
We also count visits with Plausible Analytics: the page viewed, the referring site and any campaign tags in the link, browser, operating system, device type, and country — in aggregate only. Plausible sets no cookies and keeps no persistent identifier; your IP address is combined with a salt that changes daily, hashed, and never stored. The purchase confirmation and admin pages are not measured.
No advertising trackers, no ad pixels, no cross-site tracking, no selling or sharing your email. The Overboard apps themselves read your project data locally on your machine — none of it is sent to us.
